• B.YOND MUSIC Year End Celebration:: The last Sunday of every month, located at Peace of Mind Pub Eatery 5500 Emerson Way waves goodbye to 2014 with some of the coldest features around the Midwest. Show begins at 8PM. $10 at door. Be there!

• THE GREEN HOUSE AFFECT:: Biweekly open mic set that occurs every other Friday at 3041 E. 38th St. at 9PM, the admission is $10 and includes free food, wine, and soda! 

• KAFE KUUMBA:: Midtown Writers presents::Kafe Kuumba!!!! The strongest running open mic in Indiana!! Bring your poetry, your stories, your songs. The goal is to inspire and uplift our community. From 7-9 pm with food, drinks and great times for $10. Located at 4002 Cornelius St at the Harrison Brook Center. 

• IRVINGTON THEATRE OPEN MIC:: Weekly open mic night at this historic 1913 Indianapolis landmark theater 5505 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46219 Every Thursday Free! 

• Grown & Sexy:: Every Tuesday join Damone MFN at the Cosmo Lounge located 3333 Illinois Street. Free admission. Come wind down and enjoy free food and wine tasting with comedy, poetry and hip hop as your entertainment.
   
• Vocab:: On December 11, presents Lingo with Gabrielle Patterson and live music by Carey Godspeed located at Shoefly Public House 122 E 22nd St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202. 7pm! Then on December 15 back at The Cellar Of Corner Wine Bar in Broad Ripple with Bashiri Asad as the feature!!

•  LocalMotion:: Creativity in Motion! Located 642 Virginia Ave at Fletcher Arts and Books $7 at the door. B.Y.O.V.ibes !!!  Come on out!!! 

• Outspoken:: Indy's Hottest Youth Open Mic We share our stories, pain, joys, and great laughs! Come hang out with good people and join an authentic community! Everyone is welcomed! • Currency Concert:: Going down at the Emerson Theatre at 8pm! Indy's M.O.U.S.E. OPENS UP FOR CURRENCY!!! COME ON OUT AND SUPPORT YA PEOPLE!

• For Colored Girls:: Stage play that could quite possibly be more inspiring than the movie version Tyler Perry recreated, since you'll be watching the story unfold before your eyes.  

• Zulu Nation Presents:: The People's Mic located at Vibes Music brings you a hip hop cypher YOU can get in on with writtens or not! Also, you can donate gently used items to Weather the Elements charity drive.

• Vibe on Wednesdays:: Now located at Latitude 39 and hosted by Indy’s very own Tony Styxx!

• Ghost Gun Summer:: A laid back cool night of hip hop on a Saturday night. Located at Sam's Silver Circle! Begins at 9pm

• The WayBack Machine Presents: Support Your Local Poet::: Located in Flint, Michigan at Churchill's Food Spirit open mic event with DJ Michael A mixing retro music for the evening. Begins at 9pm 

• The Black Tie Affair:: A networking event to bring in the new year with class, opportunity, and purpose! Located at Sleep Inn and Suites 1244 W. 16th Street. 8pm-2am with plenty food, business cards, and door prizes to go around. Hosted by comedian Fo' Sho !!! Be there!
